Yangon, January 10

Myanmar Red Cross Society President Dr. Maung Maung Myint received Swedish Red Cross Madam President Ms. Margareta Wahlastrom at Yangon  Office at 10 AM today. At the courtesy call, both sides cordially discussed further promotion of humanitarian activities and cooperation, closer cooperation in the regional and cementing of people-to-people relations between the two National Societies. The meeting was also attended by Vice President Dr. Daw Amaya Maw Naing, Full time Executive Committee, Deputy Secretary General and officials. The President of Swidish Red Cross was accompanied by Country Reprsentative Ms. Anna Grauers Fischer and parties.
