The President of the Myanmar Red Cross Society, Prof. Dr. Myo Nyunt, participated in the 20th South-East Asia Leaders Meeting and the 2nd Southeast Asia RCRC Youth Forum held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, from September 17th to September 22nd, 2023.

During the meetings, Prof. Dr. Myo Nyunt highlighted the humanitarian initiatives and activities undertaken by the Myanmar Red Cross Society. These endeavours were presented to the Southeast Asian Red Cross and Red Crescent National Societies. The outcomes of the Red Cross youth seminar conducted during the meeting fostered discussions on promoting practical collaboration among countries with diverse cultures, emphasizing the importance of living harmoniously. Additionally, commitments were made to support youth Red Cross activities within national societies.

Attending these meetings alongside the President were the Deputy Secretary General, Dr. Daw Nyo Nyo Wint, 2 other members, and 2 youth representatives.
