Myanmar Red Cross Society and International Committee of the Red Cross initiate emergency supplies for the communities affected by the civil unrest in Mindat Township including 18 sets of food, non-food items and personal protection equipment for COVID-19 such as hand sanitizer and mask to 64 families (244 peoples) on 30 and 31 August. And we also distributed life straw water filters and COVID-19 protections materials to Mindat General Hospital.

In addition, the MRCS will provide Primary Health Care Mobile Clinic services and ambulance referral services to communities in need at five locations in Mindat from September 2 to September 21.

The Myanmar Red Cross Society will continue to provide much-needed humanitarian assistance to affected communities.
