I am Daw Myint Myint Kyi. I have been contributing to Red Cross social works for 30 years. I joined the Red Cross because I saw Red Cross volunteers helping the community and wanted to involve myself in those activities. Now I am a Red Cross volunteer and proud of myself that I could help people in need.
Currently, I am participating in the natural disaster response activities, providing first aid treatment to injured people from accidents, sending patients with the Red Cross ambulance, working as a trainer in First Aid training, and participating in COVID-19 protection and community sanitation activities.
I was infected when I helped at the COVID-19 monitoring center although I tried to protect myself. However, I was willing to help and worked again at the center after I get cured.
“I believe I got no harm from the disease because of my sacrifice.”
