I am U Zaw Naing Htoo. I am a Red Cross volunteer at Myanmar Red Cross Society Mohnyin Township Red Cross branch. I looked up to Red Cross volunteers since I first saw them set up camps at religious events and festivals, provide first aid treatment to people who got injured from the incidents, and send them to the hospitals or clinics. That’s why I joined Red Cross society in 1996 to help people in need.
I have been contributing to our Red Cross social works such as giving first aid training and recruiting new volunteers, sending patients to the hospital with Red Cross own ambulances, blood donation, prevention activities for COVID-19 and dengue fever, emergency response for natural disasters, victim support and provision of humanitarian aids, and participating in community development works.

I would like to encourage my fellow Red Cross volunteers to always commit in humanitarian work and always be safe in their works.
